EVIDENCE: SENIOR PROJECTS
In order to graduate from Harborside Academy, all seniors are required to complete a service-oriented senior project. This project should address a need in their community or world and be directly connected to what they have learned in their classes at Harborside.

Below you will find videos documenting some of the senior projects students have completed through the years. You will also find examples of completed and approved senior project proposals that led to finished projects in order to see the extent of the planning that students put into making these projects happen.

SENIOR PROJECT PROPOSAL: PLANNING AHEAD
In the spring of their junior year, students complete and submit a senior project proposal outlining their project plans, rationale, budget, community impact, and day-to-day schedule of what they will do to complete their project. Crew teachers work with students to refine their project idea and ensure it meets the standards. Harborside's Parent Liaison, Jon Henningfield, approves the projects and provides feedback to help students whose projects are not approved revise them until they are acceptable. Below is an example of a completed senior project proposal submitted by senior Cameron K.
